Socks for Konni

Here's a pair of Wendy Johnson's Dead Simple Lace Socks (from Socks from the Toe Up). I am giving these to my friend Konni, whose birthday is coming up soon. She likes handcrafted things, warm socks, the color green: so I figured she'll like a pair of hand-knit socks. I hope she won't mind the weird colorway: I knit the socks two-at-a-time with one skein of yarn, using both ends of it. In spite of using one skein, the socks look as if they came from two different skeins and different dye lots.
