Wet

At last the rain stopped. Massachusetts set a new record, or so I heard. And what else I know is that a) our taxes aren't due till May 11 because our county is swamped by record rain, b) my students' dorms suffer from severe water damage, and the kids don't even know it yet because they are on Passover break, and c) that Amtrak hasn't run between Boston and New York since yesterday because of water on the tracks. I'm so glad I came home Monday night! And even though (a) means I could postpone doing taxes, I'll do them tomorrow. After all, I, too, am on break. Hopefully taxes won't take all day; I'd love to get some knittin' done...! How about the spring cardigan I started a while back?
