To the latter we travelled the day after our return from Berlin, to go to my good friend E's wedding. Neither one of us had been to Madison before, and we were surprised by just how much we loved it. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and so was the city.
Congratulations to E & B!! (She was such a gorgeous bride... and both had planned a really wonderful event. It was the best wedding I ever attended as a guest. Yup. Totally.)
Madison has now made it on our list of places where we can imagine ourselves living. This is an important list. As soon as Monsieur is done with his post-doc gig in Beantown, we're out of here at the speed of lightning, and move to wherever it is either one of us gets a job (preferably, where both of us get jobs!). Madison wouldn't be bad..., not bad at all....
