Hooray, I finished the second sock and thus completed my first pair of socks! I've been wearing them all morning and love how warm they are. I used the exact same number of stitches and rows per sock, and yet my gauge must have changed over the last month, because the second sock is visibly smaller. I'm not bothered by this at all, however. (I'm wearing the second sock on my right foot in the photo.)
I'm so excited about knitting socks that I ordered sock yarn (Fleece Artist BFL Socks) on Thursday, which arrived yesterday already. Guess what that means I'll be doing tonight... :)
I haven't worked much on the Heartland Lace Shawl because I'm still unsure wether I want to use sport weight yarn or switch to lace weight yarn. I better decide soon!
